Terdapat beragam bahasan di dalamnya mulai dari metodologi, teori-teori, hingga berbagai tema di ranah pembangunan sosial dan kesejahteraan yang ternyata berkembang dari masa ke masa seturut perubahan masyarakat. Berbagai sudut pandang yang tersaji di dalam buku ini juga mencerminkan variasi pendekatan solutif yang sekiranya sanggup merespons berbagai persoalan yang hadir di dalam masyarakat. Akhirnya, buku ini ditujukan bagi mahasiswa, dosen, peneliti dan siapa saja yang berminat dan peduli pada isu-isu pembangunan sosial dan kesejahteraan. Buku ini diharapkan mampu menjadi inspirasi bagi mereka yang berminat untuk mengembangkan ranah keilmuan pembangunan sosial dan kesejahteraan.
