Invitation

The organizing committee cordially invites you to participate in the 7th ICIE 2018 that will be held on September 10th-13rd, 2018 at UGM, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. We are designing a stimulating program allowing the mutual discussion and exchange of the latest developments on the fundamental and applied studies of ion exchange and its related subjects.

Program

7th ICIE 2018 consists of keynote and invited lectures, oral and poster presentation as well as one day excursion to the most wonderful historical temples in the world. Student Poster Award will also be provided.

Topics and Scope

The conference has aims to stimulate and promote a mutual discussion and exchange the latest developments on the fundamental and applied studies of ion exchange and its related subjects. The general topics of the conference will be:

The official language during the 7th ICIE 2018 is English.

One Day Excursion

1. Borobudur Temple

Borobudur is a 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist Temple in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. The monument is the single most visited tourist monument in Indonesia. In June 2012, Borobudur was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s largest Buddhist archaeological site.

2. Prambanan Temple and Ramayana Festival

It was built in the 10th century, this is the largest temple compound dedicated to Shiva in Indonesia. From May to October at full moon, the classic Javanese Ramayana ballet or dance drama is performed by more than 250 dancers in an outdoor open stage with as its backdrop the full moon dramatically rising over the Prambanan Temple.
